Mars is the next planet on our list for human exploration! The Red Planet is the most Earth-like of our solar system’s inner planets, but its thin atmosphere, dusty surface, and huge temperature swings make it a difficult place to visit. In this workshop, we will consider the challenges of getting there, surviving on its surface, and getting home. We will talk about what we already know about Mars from previous exploration, and the plans to send people there soon.
