Hobbs Brewing Company will celebrate the return of spring at their annual Sugar
Moon Fest on Saturday, March 15 from 12:00-4:00pm at their Ossipee Tap Room.
The seasonal event features the 2025 release of their barrel-aged Sugar Moon Wee Heavy
brewed with New Hampshire maple syrup and candy cap mushrooms. Sugar Moon will be
available in three varieties—Great American Beer Festival Gold-Winning (2022) Rum Barrel-
Aged, Bronze-Winning (2023) Bourbon Barrel-Aged, and first-ever release Double Moon, a
double barrel-aged iteration, aged for 12 months in bourbon barrels, followed by an additional 6
months in Caribbean rum barrels, resulting in flavors of maple sugar candy, vanilla, sweet
caramel, and a touch of spice.
The day’s events include live music from local acoustic favorite George Brown, and featured
food truck M.C. Street Eats. All 3 Sugar Moon varieties will be available for purchase on
draught, and in 500ml bottles in limited quantities.
