“Success with Transplanting Vegetables” will be offered twice, and the same information will be covered at each session. Pre-registration is required due to limited space. One session will be on Saturday, April 26, from 10 am to 11:30 am. The same workshop will also be held on Tuesday, May 13, from 5 pm to 6:30 pm.
“Even the healthiest vegetable seedling, whether you’ve grown it yourself or gotten it from a quality garden center like ours, will struggle or fail if you’re not careful,” explains Moulton. “What you do and don’t do is different depending on the vegetables you are trying to grow. We’ll cover this in the workshop.”
Workshops are free and intended for new and experienced vegetable gardeners who want to grow food in vegetable gardens, raised beds, or container gardens.
Due to the popularity of past gardening workshops at the farm and limited seats, pre-registration is required. Register by visiting MoultonFarm.com or by calling the farm at 603-279-3915.
