Paddleboard Evenings at the Squam Lakes Association, Holderness NH

September 26 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Join Lakes Region Conservation Corps member Meg for an evening Paddleboard Guided Adventure every Thursday evening from 5-6:30 PM in the months of August and September. If you are trying to learn how to paddleboard, why not learn how to do some simple and fun stretches at the same time with a small group of people? This event is intended to be an evening with light stretches, poor balance and most definitely a couple falls into Squam Lake. You can take the paddle at your own speed and level of comfort, so if you are ready to laugh off your falls and get back up again, this adventure might be for you. We will meet at the Squam Lake Association boat docks and then have a short paddle out into Piper Cove.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own paddleboards if they have them. Participants should come wearing attire they are comfortable performing light stretching in as well as getting wet. Sandals to aid in getting in and out of the water will be helpful but are not required. Although this program is short, bringing water and snacks for after is a great idea.

For more information, or to sign up for this Guided Adventure, visit the SLA website (squamlakes.org) or contact the SLA directly (603-968-7336). The SLA also offers other guided hikes and Adventure Ecology programming throughout the year. These free programs are open to the public and cover a variety of nature and conservation related topics. Adventure Ecology programs are presented by the SLA’s Lakes Region Conservation Corps AmeriCorps members, who perform important conservation work in support of the Association’s mission. The Squam Lakes Association is dedicated to conserving for public benefit the natural beauty, peaceful character and resources of the watershed. In collaboration with local and state partners the SLA promotes the protection, careful use and shared enjoyment of the lakes, mountains, forests, open spaces and wildlife of the Squam Lakes Region.
