Living Shores Aquarium – Five NEW Exhibits Spring Break April 21-May 5, 2025, Glen NH

Living Shores Aquarium in Glen, NH is continuing to expand, as the aquarium adds five new exhibits ahead of Spring Break. The 32,000 square foot aquarium recently brought the Florida Everglades to the Granite State as it added New Hampshire’s only alligator exhibit.

Building off its newest addition, Living Shores has added five all-new exhibits for guests to enjoy throughout their visit. Details include:

  • Tina the Common Snapper – Was moved to the aquarium from the Minnesota Herpetological Society. She weighs in at 50 pounds and is nearly two feet long. At approximately 20 years old, she is considered an adult snapper and can live for up to 40 years in human care. NEW! Snapping Turtle-20250413T154141Z-001
  • Three American Alligators – Callie, Oceola and Allie crawled into Living Shores after being rescued by the Reptile & Amphibian Discovery Zoo (RAD Zoo) located in Medford, Minnesota. Allie, the largest is just over five and half feet long and weighs 70 pounds. The three gators are the ONLY alligator exhibit in the state!Lakes Region Tourism
  • Moon Jellies – Also known as the common jellyfish are small translucent creatures found primarily along the coasts of North America & Europe.

  • Living Coral Reef – A beautiful display consisting of sinularia leather coral, open brain coral and various sea life providing a rich educational opportunity for aquarium visitors. Coral reefs cover about 1% of the world’s ocean however, they provide a habitat for about 25% of the world’s marine life making it an extremely important area of conservation and preservation.Lakes Region Tourism
  • Education Corner – Has undergone a full transformation with six immersive exhibits and new ambassador animals like Loki the Savannah monitor lizard. Found in an abandoned apartment, Loki is approximately two years old and now lives at the aquarium as an ambassador animal. He is accompanied by other ambassador animals consisting of a wood turtle, ball python, leopard gecko, blue tongue skink and more.

 

Visitors heading to the White Mountains for spring break can experience their new exhibits and animals daily starting April 21 through May 5.
