Invasive Plant Species Identification and Management Workshop – Squam Lakes Natural Science Center, Holderness NH

Dive into the world of gardening with Lead Horticulturalist Emma Erler in this exciting two-part workshop aimed at transforming garden spaces while tackling invasive plant issues. This interactive program, hosted by Squam Lakes Natural Science Center, promises to be educational for gardeners of all skill levels. 

The first session is June 25 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. where Emma will guide participants through identifying common invasive plants in New Hampshire and how to recognize them in a backyard. The second session on July 9 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. will be hands-on as Emma demonstrates effective management strategies to reclaim a garden from invasive species. 

Learn how native plants can be used to restore areas and find project areas for maximum impact. This program is for teens and adults and youth must be accompanied by a registered adult. Participants can register for one or both sessions.
