Join artist Verne Orlosk on Friday, October 25th, 2024 from 1 pm to 3 pm for a Fused Glass Fancy Fall Landscape class.

In this class students will learn the basics of fused glass to create their own fall landscape panel. Verne will begin with a brief lesson on the elements used in fused glass as an art form. Students will use her personal studio vitrigraph and other specialty glass to create a fall landscape scene. Vitrigraph is process where molten glass is pulled from the bottom of a supported kiln to make curved shapes, cane and twists. A favorite place, a photo, and/or just color and line will inspire your art. Student’s panels will be fired in a kiln off-site after the class, and will be returned to the gallery for pickup when complete. Tuition is $80 per student with an additional materials fee of $15 paid by cash or check to the instructor at the time of the class.
