“Essentials for Vegetable Gardening Success” Moulton Farm, Meredith NH

March 29 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

In “Essentials for Vegetable Gardening Success,” John Moulton, owner of Moulton Farm, will discuss several common issues that can cause challenges for both new and experienced vegetable gardeners. “Preventing problems from occurring is so much easier and more effective than having to treat an issue in your garden,” says Moulton. “The truth is paying attention to a few things and following good practices at the start of the growing season can prevent a lot of problems.”

Moulton will share tips on how to care for your soil, start seeds, when and how to feed your plants and when not to, and what watering practices support healthy growth and discourage plant diseases and pests. The session will also include time to ask questions.

“Essentials for Vegetable Gardening Success” will be offered twice, and the same information will be covered at each session.  Pre-registration is required due to limited space.  One session will be on Saturday, March 29, from 10 am to 11:30 am.  The same workshop will also be held on Thursday, April 10, from 5 pm to 6:30 pm.

Due to the popularity of past gardening workshops at the farm and limited seats, pre-registration is required. Register by visiting MoultonFarm.com or by calling the farm at 603-279-3915.
