Please join Artistic Roots for a reception with refreshments to welcome a new group of visiting artists on March 21st. These artists will be with us from March thru June. Both Kelly Coffin’s baskets and her paintings are rooted in the forms, rhythms and textures that she experiences in the natural world. Joe Foster is a carver and jewelry maker who primarily focuses on pounamu jade, wood and whalebone, using techniques he learned from local master carvers in the mountains and rainforests of New Zealand. Molly Glover is a full-time oil painter and potter from the White Mountains who draws her inspiration from natural New England landscapes, emphasizing color. Mary Ann McGarry is a multi-media artist who creates abstract mountain mono-prints, featuring people recreating outdoors.
