The Squam Lakes Association (SLA) invites you to join us at  Winterfest; a fun-filled, free event celebrating the beauty of winter on Squam Lake.

From ice skating and sledding to mini golf, fire pits, and scavenger hunts, Winterfest is packed with family-friendly entertainment. Visitors will also have the chance to learn about local wildlife with live animal programs presented by the Squam Lakes Science Center and activities from the Squam Lakes Conservation Society.

“The Squam Lakes Association is dedicated to conserving and providing access the natural beauty of our region, and Winterfest is an opportunity for us to bring the community together to enjoy the outdoors and connect with nature during the winter months”, – said  EB James, Squam Lakes Association Executive Director.

Winterfest guests are encouraged to bring their sleds and skates to make the most of the outdoor activities. After playing in the snow, warm up by the fire with a cup of hot cocoa or sample delicious chili from local restaurants. It’s the perfect way to enjoy a day in the snow while supporting the preservation of Squam Lakes for future generations.

All activities are free and open to the public.
