Join us on a walk around our property to learn about its extensive and incredible history!  We’ll discuss the site’s long history, from its geological activity 100 million years ago, to the significance of our cellar holes, to how Tom and Olive Plant transformed the property, up to how it is used in the present day.

Please be aware that this tour will last approximately 90 minute and involves walking outdoors, including slight inclines and uneven ground. Please wear appropriate footwear, dress for the weather, and bring sunscreen and bug spray as desired.

Please meet for this tour at the picnic pavilions by Shannon Pond. Hiker parking is available at the top of Ossipee Park Road just past Maple Lodge, and also in the unpaved areas across from the pond and Café in the Clouds.

This program is weather-dependent. If the Castle cancels the program, you will be notified via phone or email the morning of the program and a full refund will be available. In the rare circumstance that we are forced to cancel, we hope to have you on another tour in the future!
