Guided Snorkel with the Squam Lakes Association, Holderness NH

Join the SLA’s Lakes Region Conservation Corps members for a guided snorkel in one of Squam Lake’s beautiful coves, July 30th from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm! Participants will enjoy a leisurely cruise on one of the SLA’s boats over to Dog Cove, where we will set our anchor and enjoy looking at the amazing life below the surface. We will provide some masks, snorkels, fins, and noodles to assist in floating if needed.

The program will meet on the SLA campus, by the boat launch. Participants should bring or wear their swim wear to this event, and if you have your own snorkel, fins and masks you are encouraged to bring those.You should also bring enough food and water for the duration of the program, this includes a lunch and any snacks you might need. Sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, towels and extra layers are encouraged for all participants.

The SLA also offers other guided hikes and Adventure Ecology programming throughout the year. These free programs are open to the public and cover a variety of nature and conservation related topics. The Adventure Ecology programs are presented by the LRCC AmeriCorps members at the SLA who perform important conservation work in support of the Association’s mission.
