Course Overview:
Dive into the world of watercolor with our beginners class at LRAA! Heres what you can expect over the
five weeks:
 Week 1: Dive into the basics with 24 small pictures designed to teach you essential techniques
and texture applications. This foundational week sets the stage for your watercolor journey.
 Week 2: Apply your newfound skills by painting rocks. Learn how to capture the texture and depth
of natural stones using watercolors.
 Week 3: Focus on the art of keeping your paintings loose and expressive, emphasizing fluidity
and spontaneity in your work.
 Week 4: Celebrate the arrival of spring by painting themes that evoke warmth, renewal, and the
beauty of the season.
 Week 5: This is the final lesson of our five-week course, focusing on landscape painting to
complete and enrich your painting experience
 Who Should Attend: This class is perfect for those who have never touched a watercolor brush
or for those looking to refresh their skills. No prior experience is necessary.
