MEREDITH STATION GOES MOBIL Old-Time Filling Station and Store Converts to Mobil Affiliation
MEREDITH, N.H. - Meredith Station, a replica of a 1940's old-style filling station and convenience store on Route 3 in Meredith, has a new look.
The Meredith Station has converted to Mobil gas, offering customers the use of Mobil's trademark SpeedPass to purchase gasoline and goods inside the store.
"Mobil has great brand recognition and more importantly, great customer service, including the SpeedPass, allowing customers to quickly fill up and go when they are on the run," said Pat Wade, manager of Meredith Station Mobil.
Meredith Station was opened in July 1999 by Rusty McLear, president of Hampshire Hospitality Holdings, which owns and operates The Inns and Spa at Mill Falls, comprised of four inns, a marketplace and spa, which surround the filling station.
Wade said the station converted to Mobil in early January, and while the addition of the SpeedPass is new, customers will find the same dedicated employees and offerings they are accustomed to inside the store, such as fresh brewed Green Mountain Coffees, a deli serving made to order subs and sandwiches with Boar's Head Meats, fresh homemade pizza, as well as other on-the-go items.
Guests staying at The Inns and Spa at Mill Falls receive a discount of six cents per gallon at Meredith Station Mobil, and the filling station also offers discounts to customers who have Omni Cards at Jackson's Star Market and Generation Gold cardholders from Meredith Village Savings Bank. Business owners and consumers can also apply for Mobil credit cards inside the store. For more information stop in or call 279-1309.
