BOATING CERTIFICATION OFFERED AT CHANNEL MARINE
Tilton, NH (January 11th, 2007) Channel Marine is hosting a boating safety course on January 20, 2007 from 9am to 3pm at their Tilton location. Lakes Region Sail & Power Squadron, local Chapter of the United States Power Squadron, will be teaching the course. This course is accepted in all U.S. states and provinces, exceeding basic requirements for New Hampshire certification. Other advanced boating courses are available after completion of the basic course.
Cost for the course is $20.00 per person and includes the boat smart course book. The boating certification test will be given the same day. Books are available at Channel Marine, Tilton if someone wants to sign up and study the book before hand, stated Roger Guilbert, Channel Marine, Tilton general manager. This is the first time that the course will be offered at Channel Marine in Tilton; and weve made our building available to the local volunteers of the Power Squadron for the course.
