The Lake Winnipesaukee Heritage Route – A guide to exploring the history and heritage of Lake Winnipesaukee and the surrounding towns. Coordinated by the Lakes Region Heritage Roundtable, a partnership of citizens working to identify, preserve and promote the many aspects of the region’s heritge. Charles Morrison 603-366-2799

Freedom Historical Society – Two walks in Freedom Village with brief history. 603-529-8269.

Gilford Village Historic District- Includes Brief overall history and 50 sites. May be purchased at Town Office of library for $2. 603-527-4700.

Meredith Village – Historic Walking Tour . An introduction to Mereidth’s past and present. Provides an introductory look at he history of a typical New England mill town. Meredith Public Library 603-279-4303.

Plymouth New Hampshire Heritage Trail- Planned to run from Massachusetts to Canada through the Merrimack, Pemigewasset and upper Connecticut valleys. Combines both scenic and historic sites. Plymouth Chamber of Commerce 603-536-1001

Wakefield Heritage Trail – 2 mile footpath in Sanbornville originating at either Turntable Park or the Historical District. Fitness stations constructed by the Wakefield Chamber of Commerce and as interpretive booklet on those natural plants and historic Highlights which can be observed on the path. 603-522-6205
