2 Day Itinerary - Whirlwind Lakes Region Antiques & Gallery Tour

This tour in Meredith, NH and ends in Plymouth NH and is approximately 60-75 minutes from Manchester-Boston Regional Airport in Manchester, NH. Meredith is located 10 minutes from Exit 23 off I-93, and is approximately 2 hours North of Bostons Logan International Airport. Plymouth is located at Exit 25 off I-93 and is 15 minutes north of Exit 23.

DAY 1 Meredith, Center Harbor, Moultonborough, Sandwich
Directions to Starting Point:
I-93 to Exit 23. Turn right off ramp from Northbound and left from Southbound. Head East on Route 104 for 10 minutes or so. At the light at Winona Road/Route 104, turn left onto Winona Road. Follow for 2 miles. The Old Print Barn will be on your right. Parking is before the building and there is plenty of room for buses.
10am 10:45 - Old Print Barn, Meredith
The Old Print Barn is a full service art gallery, buying and selling art and offering evaluation, authentication, restoration, and framing. When you enter the door to the 1790 barn you will find yourself in one of the largest art galleries in New England with over two thousand original works of art on display. Directions to Burlwood Antique Center. Turn left from the Old Print Barns parking lot and head back down Winona Road to Route 104. Turn left at the lights and follow to end. At this set of light, turn right onto Route 3. Burlwood will be on your right and has a large parking lot for buses.

The spacious Burlwood Antique Center is home to over 170 antique dealers. They have a complete selection of antiques, including jewelry, furniture, china, books, glass, and much more and was voted one of "Best of NH - 2005" by New Hampshire Magazine. Turn left from the Burlwood on Route 3 for 1/2 mile. Hart’s will be on your right just after the lights and the intersection of Route 104.

Directions to Glass Knob - Moultonboro
Turn right from Hart's or the Town Docks onto route 3 North. At the light on Meredith Bay, turn right onto Route 25. Follow to Center Harbor. Go straight through lights and the Glass Knob is up Route 25 about a mile on the left.

Directions to Bertha Maes Antique Center: Turn right from the parking lot of the Wolfeboro Inn and head out Main Street / Route 109. In the center of town, Route 109 turns to the left. Go STRAIGHT onto Route 28. Follow Route 28 into Alton. Go around the traffic circle all the way and take Route 11 into Alton Bay. Follow scenic Route 11 as it follows the shoreline above Lake Winnipesaukee. There are a couple scenic overlooks enroute. At the intersection of Routes 11 and 11B you will find Bertha Maes and plenty of parking for busses. Travel Time: 30-40 minutes

Directions to Village Artists & Gallery: Take Route 11B to Weirs Beach where it will merge into Route 3. Turn right onto Route 3 and follow up to Meredith. At the light in Meredith, go straight and stay on Route 3 until it reaches Downtown Ashland. The Village Artists is just across the intersection to the right (big yellow building).

Directions to Red Gate Farm: From Village Artists, turn left and follow Main Street (Route 3) towards I-93. Take I-93 North to Exit 25 in Plymouth. Turn right off the exit and follow a mile to downtown Plymouth. At light, turn left to downtown rotary. At top of rotary, turn right after the post office onto Highland Street. Follow Highland Street a couple miles. The Gallery at Red Gate Farm will be on your right. Travel Time: 10-15 minutes
