Description:	Art of the Harvest: Plaiting Straw for all levels with instructor, Lark Leonard. Saturday, June 2 from 9:30am-12pm. Fee $35 CSV members, $38.50 non-members. A unique opportunity to learn and discuss the art and craft of straw plating. You'll design two ornaments to take home: the Four Strand Favor and the Cats Paw Heart. In addition, you'll explore the harvest customs that led to the craft of straw plaiting, and learn about growing and harvesting grains for projects at home. Instructor will bring reference materials and samples for students to browse and more advanced techniques will be offered, given student interest. Please bring a pair of scissors.
